The Terraces Community Features
Floyd Lamb State Park: This park features more than 2,000 acres of natural grasslands, blooming desert and four small lakes. A number of concerts and festivals are held at the park throughout the year.
Mt. Charleston/Lee Canyon: Located in the Toiyabe National Forest, Mt. Charleston offers visitors the opportunity to experience a change of seasons: beautiful fall foliage, winter snow (and skiing!) and summer days that are on average 20 degrees below Las Vegas. The area is home to the Mt. Charleston Hotel and the Mt. Charleston Lodge. Horseback riding, hiking and other outdoor activities are also available.
